Grounding Exercises
Grounding enables us to anchor ourselves amidst the chaos or stress of everyday life, creating a sense of stability and inner calm.
When we ground ourselves, we bring our attention to the physical sensations and experiences in our body. By focusing on our breath, the feeling of our feet on the ground, or the weight of our body in a chair, we become more attuned to the present moment. This awareness allows us to shift our focus away from intrusive thoughts or overwhelming emotions.
By practicing grounding regularly, we enhance our ability to stay centered, manage stress, and engage fully with the richness of our lives, moment by moment.
